The Tractor Stool is contoured in the shape of a traditional tractor seat, as used by generations of farmers. It features a textured slip-resistant polyurethane seat, specially moulded to generous proportions. The seat is both height and tilt adjustable, operated by separate levers. The seat tilt allows users to adopt a relaxed but upright posture when undertaking manual tasks. The Tractor Stool is fitted with a gas-lift cover to prevent dust from affecting the smooth operation of the gas lift. Note that the gas lift cover shape and the type of height adjustment mechanism may sometimes vary from that pictured.

This model is fitted with a 200 mm stroke gas lift. In other words, it adjusts higher than a normal chair (in this case, up to 660 mm height) but not to the full height of a drafting chair.? The stool is available with soft castors for reducing rolling on hard floors, or glides for stability on level surfaces.
